Android Handsets send user's text to China every 72 hours

A Chinese Manufacturer has installed 'backdoor' software on over 700 million Android phone that shares its user data such as text messages and calls without the user knowing.
The software is programmed to force all device's text message to its server in China every 72 hours.
But the company lawyer has debunked the news stating that the firmware was design for a Chinese client and never intended for use on phones elsewhere. But a phone manufacturer BLU Products precisely said 120,000 of its phones has been affected.
This feature was discovered by Virginia-based security firm Kryptowire who state that the core of the monitoring activities took place using a commercial firmware over the air (FOTA) update software system.
The devices transmit user information including full-body of text messages, contact lists, call history with full telephone numbers.
This feature was first discovered when one of the researchers in Kryptowire discovered that its newly brought phone BLU RI HD has some unusually online activities going on.
The software is difficult to detect, even if you wanted to, you wouldn't have know about it; The vice president of Kryptowire told New York Times.
