PRIVACY ALERT:- Photo App Meitu is collecting huge amounts of data from users

Most of us should've probably heard about the new photo editing app Meitu; and if you have downloaded it and thinking of downloading it, then you need to think twice before doing so because security experts are warning that this free app comes with a dis-awarding trade-off, by giving Meitu permission to identify personal data's and spy on its users' profile. 



Apart from acquiring permission to use the camera and camera roll, this app can access your local, IP address, device identifier numbers (IMSIs), WiFi connection, and even information on phone calls or other apps you’re running. And legends have it that it's send this details to some external IP Addresses. Although Apple block apps from collecting  device identifier numbers (IMSIs) but that is not the case for Android which is an open source operating system.
