Apple iPhone camera getting a BIG upgrade

According to recent reports, Apple is working on giving its users access to futuristics spatial recongnition and mapping.
Using Augemented Reality (AR); live direct or indirect view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented (or supplemented) by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data, Apple will use the phone advanced sensors to generate real live views of the user's surroundings while imposing it with super informative digital view.
At a conference in July, Apple CEO Tim Cook provided some insight on the firm’s work in artificial intelligence and augmented reality.
Augmented reality and artificial intelligence are often regarded as an uneasy fit for Apple, a hardware maker that tends not to embrace new technology until it matures.
But, raving about hit smartphone game Pokemon GO, Cook stressed that Apple is 'high on [augmented reality] for the long-run' and investing heavily.
